It has been two weeks since I packed up all of my belongings and headed 8,000 miles away for my new adventure. I have already learned so much about life and the world. I am excited to see what things may come in the future.
One of the amazing things about this journey has been the people. Sometimes, we all get so caught up in our own little worlds, we fail to notice the extraordinary things that exist right in front of us. I was lucky enough to meet several guys who ended up being coworkers of mine as we landed in Saudi Arabia. These guys have quickly become my best friends. And, as with most things in this world, it is their stories that add the spice of life.
One of these friends is a true renaissance man. From running a fun sock company to being a legit barber, this friend runs the gamut of life skills.
His socks have great colors and patterns…

I had come to this country not knowing what customs would be like. So I grew a beastly beard. Now I feel ready to take on the world.
It is also cool to see the reception we receive at our hotel, The Zara Continental.

The more I explore, the more I realize how nice this place is.

Until next time.
